Sehwan road mishap claims 6 lives

DADU—Atleast six people belonging from one family were killed in a head on collision between a passenger coach and a car near Sehwan on Indus Highway. According to the details, a coach bearing no-NNU 9465, coming from Hyderabad collided with a car No-ALP 240. As a result, six persons of one family was killed on the spot. They were going back to Karachi after visiting the Holy Shrine of Lal-Shahbaz-Kalender. The deceased included Afsha (14), Samia (16), Adnan (18), Tania (10) and 60 year old Muhammad Farooq. Locals residents and passer-bys took the bodies out of the car. Tehsil Nazim Sehwan, Sikandar Rahpoo arranged the ambulances that carried the bodies to Karachi. Passengers, traveling in the coach suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile Police has lodged a case against the Driver who escaped from the spot.—Agencies
