ISLAMABAD—Parking problems in Blue Area are growing with every passing day, as the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has yet to materialize its plan to construct parking plazas in the city.
After receiving numerous complaints, the CDA Planning Wing started working on a plan to resolve the parking problem, but so far the authority has failed to construct parking plazas in Blue Area.
During a visit to different parts of the city, Online found that people were not only facing parking problems at Blue Area but also at Aabpara, Karachi Company, Supper, Jinnah Supper and many other markets.
According to the CDA building bylaws, every builder is bound to construct adequate car parking in its building and the department is authorized to take action against those builders who fail to provide adequate parking area, however, the civic authority had so far failed to implement its own laws.—Online
