PTCL sets up day-long customer facilitation points

ISLAMABAD—The spokesman of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) Business North Zone Islamabad said on Friday that company would set up two Customer Facilitation Points to receive and resolve, on the spot, problems faced by the consumers regarding telephone services.
“There in, billion of complaints, line faults and other such type of complaints about telephone services will be entertained. The Customer Facilitation Points will be a one stop-shop where customers can place orders for various PTCL services like new telephone connections, Broadband Pakistan, Students broadband Packages, Wireless Local Loop (V-fones) and other PTCL Services. Moreover, suggestion boxes will also be placed for the citizens to drop their suggestions,” he said.
PTCL Executive Vice President Business North Zone Jamil Khawaja alongwith Regional general Manager Islamabad Ayub Khan Umraj, other Senior Officers and operational staff will also be present there. They will help in resolving customers grievances within short span of time,” he added.
The customer facilitation points, a day-long programme, will start at 1000 hours and continue till 1700 hours on 23rd February 2008 (Saturday). It is scheduled to be held at two different places in Rawalpindi. First one would be set up at National Bank of Pakistan, Saddar Bank Road and second at Satellite Town Commercial Market Rawalpindi.
“The valued customers of PTCL Rawalpindi Areas are invited to come in the Customer Facilitation Points for resolving their problems related to PTCL telephone services on the scheduled date, time and venue, PTCL is always committed in providing efficient and state of the art telecom services to its valued customers”. Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) Business North Zone Islamabad would set up day-long customers facilitation points at two different places on Saturday (Feb 23).
With an objective to keep a close contact with PTCL customers, the programme initially is going to be launched for the customers of Rawalpindi area. The Customer Facilitation Point will be one stop-shop where customers can place orders for various PTCL services like new telephone connections, Wireless Local Loop (V-fones) and DSL /Broad Band etc. The customers can also get their relevant problems resolved at those points, including faulty phones, installation of new telephones, Wireless Local Loop, DSL, non delivery of phone bills, excessive billing complaints and other telephones services.
PTCL Executive Vice President, Business North Zone, Jamil Khawaja will also be present at National Bank of Pakistan, Bank Road Saddar and at Satellite Town Commercial Market Rawalpindi. The customer facilitation programme will be held from 1000 hours to 1700 hours on Feb 23. The customers of PTCL Rawalpindi Areas are invited to come in the Customer Facilitation Points to redress of their problems related to PTCL telephone services on the scheduled date, item and venue.
