SSP Traffic for continuing awareness traffic campaigns

ISLAMABAD—SSP Traffic Muhammad Zubair Hashmi has said that traffic rules awareness campaign for citizens must continue adding strict action would be taken against applied for and tinted vehicles.
While reviewing the on going awareness campaign by Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Friday, he directed all the traffic police personnel to implement all the traffic laws and provide awareness to citizens about traffic laws during duty hours.
He further directed the concerned staff to take stern action against applied for and black mirrors vehicles and ensure strict action against violations of traffic rules to establish traffic discipline.
He appealed the masses to act upon the traffic rules and proved themselves as civilised citizens and cooperate with traffic police to improve the traffic system of the city and ITP is initiating effective measures for the development of community policing. Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) is giving training to 4000 officers of National Highways & Motorway Police on First Aid and Trauma Handling.
In this regard, a ceremony was held at PIMS to distribute certificates amongst the officers of second batch, who completed their course.
