PTA blocks youtube

ISLAMABAD—The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has directed all ISPs of the country to block access to the famous video share website “you tube” for containing blasphemous web content and movies. The order issued by director enforcement agency says that the ratio of “non-Islamic objectionable video” has been increased on the website. Following the order, the local ISPs banned the website from their servers “the site would remain blocked till further orders from PTA” a local ISPs worker said. You Tube-powered by Goggle, allows people to easily upload and share their video clips through websites, mobile devices, blogs, and email and is vastly famous all over the world.—Agencies
