Vacant post of Land Superintendent irking masses

RAWALPINDI—The delay in the appointment of the permanent Land Superintendent in the Land Branch of Cantonment Board Chaklala is causing inconvenience to the citizens.
The public and social circles while expressing concern over the situation said that the post has been vacant for the last 3 months and the concerned officials failed to appoint permanent Land Supervisor.
They underlined that a junior officer is looking after matters, which is causing delay in resolving their issues.
It is merit mentioning that Land Superintendent Shafique Khan was retired on November 30 and after his retirement, charge was given to Assistant Superintendent Muhammad Shoaib .
