Tehsil Nazim escapes unhurt in firing

MIANWALI—Tehsil Nazim Amjad Khan managed to escape when unidentified persons opened fire at him whereas one of his aides sustained injuries. According to details, Amjad Khan in vehicle was on his way for electioneering at Chadrore Road when unidentified persons opened fire at his vehicle due to one of his colleague sustained bullet injuries who was sitting in the rear seat. He remained unhurt during the firing. It is pertinent to note that Amjad Khan is son of former Federal Minister Dr Sher Afgan Khan and he was on his way for election campaign of his father.—Agencies
