Saudi HRC Chief meets Burney

ISLAMABAD—The Saudi Minister and President of the Saudi Supreme Human Rights Commission, Turki K. Al Sudairy called on Pakistan's Federal Minister for Human Rights, Ansar Burney in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and discussed human rights issues in the region.
Later Mr Burney who is on a visit of Royal Saudi Arabia also attended dinner hosted by Mr Sudairy. Vice President Dr Zaid bin Abdul Muhsin A-Hussain and Board members of the Saudi HRC were also present.
The Saudi and Pakistani human rights Ministers discussed in length human rights issues in the region including human trafficking, slavery, women issues, underage child camel jockeys issue, prisoners issue etc.
Meanwhile Dr Bandar M. Hamza Al-Hajjar and Dr Mufleh Al-Kahtani the President and Vice President of the Saudi National Society for Human Rights respectively were also met with Pakistan's human rights Minister Ansar Burney and discussed human rights issues.
