Deployment of 81,000 troops to be completed today
RAWALPINDI—In view of maintaining law and Order during elections,
deployment of 81,000 Army troops and Paramilitary Forces will be
completed on Friday (today). Military Sources have revealed that almost
34,000 Army Jawans while 47,000 officials of Paramilitary Forces will be
deployed in the most sensitive polling stations of the country.
Approximately 159 Companies of Pak Army will be deployed in all the four
provinces in view to assist the Civil Administration during elections.
Government has already declared 52 Districts as sensitive in the country
and in this regard, Rangers and Army officials will be deployed in the
said areas. On the other hand, while talking to Media, ISPR Director
General Athar Abbas said that Army will be deployed at all the Sensitive
Areas while in view of keeping law and Order during elections,
deployment of 81,000 Army troops and Paramilitary Forces will be
completed on Friday (today).—Online
