Weekly bazaars become security risk

ISLAMABAD—After the recent suicide blasts in all over the country, the Weekly bazaars in the capital have become a security risk as no proper security measures were taken by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
The citizens while expressing their concern over the lack of proper security measures in the Weekly bazaars have underlined that the bazaars were setup by the capital’s authority aimed to provide relief to them but lack of security posing danger to their lives. They emphasized that no security measures were taken at the entrance of weekly bazaars setup in the Sector G-9 and the checking equipments of the guards of a private security firm are not functioning.—Agencies
They said that due to inadequate security measures, any untoward incident can be happen, adding that nearly 5,000 to 10,000 people visiting the weekly bazaars of Sunday, Tuesday and Friday
