Election office blown up

MASTUNG—A powerful blast destroyed a joint election office of two independent candidates here in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, police officials said. The bomb was planted near the joint election office of independent candidates, Agha Faisal Dawood and Mir Mujibur Rehman at main Mastung Road. The blast occurred around 3.30 am Wednesday and fully destroyed the office. Windowpanes of surrounding buildings were also shattered due to the effect of the blast. No causality reported. Area police registered a case and started investigation.—Agencies
