CJP to award certificates to trainee judges

ISLAMABAD—Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar will award certificates to the trainee Civil Judges -cum- Judicial Magistrates on the completion of their four-week pre-service training course in certificate awarding ceremony programmed to be held here at the Federal Judicial Academy ( FJA) on the 15th of February, 2008 ( Friday).
On the occasion, Mr. Moazzam Hayat Director General of the FJA will present his welcome address and an overview of the course. 30 Civil Judges -cum- Judicial Magistrates, of them nine are female judges, from the NWFP have participated in this 34th Pre-service training course.
Besides faculty members, a number of serving and retired judges of the superior courts, those of district judiciary, Federal Law Minister, jurists, constitutionalists, international law experts and senior police officers, delivered scholarly lectures to the trainee judges to enrich their judicial and legal knowledge and sharpen their skills to administer speedy justice to the justice seekers, said Hashim Abro spokesman of the FJA.
