CDA breaks ground for Rs1.2b Citizens Club in Jinnah Park

ISLAMABAD—Chairman Capital Development Authority Kamran Lashari has laid the foundation stone of Rs. 1.2 billion Islamabad Citizens Club (ICC) in the Fatima Jinnah Park, Sector F-9. According to the devised construction plan, the Citizens Club, covering total 40 acres of land, would be completed in 30 months. The club would have a main lobby, banquet halls, facilities of indoor and outdoor games and lawns such as swimming pools, tennis courts, etc. Eminent architect Nayyar Ali Dada has designed the club while M/S Expertise, which has also constructed the French embassy building and other structures in Diplomatic Enclave, has been contracted to construct the club.
Addressing on the occasion, Kamran Lashari said that CDA is vigorously taking practical initiatives to further beautify the federal capital and provide maximum entertainment facilities to its citizens.—Agencies
