Public Private sector infrastructure board meets tomorrow

ISLAMABAD—Caretaker Federal Minister for Water and Power Tariq Hamid has summoned an important meeting of Public Private Power Infrastructure Board tomorrow (Thursday) to review the ongoing electricity crises and short-term and long-term Power Generation Projects.
According to sources of Ministry of Water and Power, the officials of the Ministry of Water and Power and the private sector would participate in the meeting.
The meeting would review the development made so far on Thermal and Hydel Projects started with the private sector.
Sources further said that the meeting would also review the steps taken to overcome the on-going electricity crises in the country while the Caretaker Minister would be briefed regarding Power Generation Projects functioning by the private sector.—Online
