Opp tables three adjournment motions in Senate

ISLAMABAD—The Combine opposition has tabled a three separate adjournment motion against the suicide attack at ANP rally in Charsada, PEMRA Amended Ordinance 2007 and Press and Publication Ordinance (PPO) 2007.
In the adjournment motion, it is said that it has become routine that terrorists are attacking on public places, near defense installations, cantonments and especially in the political meetings but the Government has failed to control the situation.
They said that the matter is becoming serious day by day which needs discussion on the floor of the House adjourning the business of the Senate.
In the adjournment motion, they also disapprove the Ordinance of “The Press, Newspaper, News Agencies and Books Registration (Amended) Ordinance 2007 and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Third Amendment) Ordinance 2007.
Leader of the Opposition in Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani, Dr. Safdar Abbasi, Prof. Sajid Mir, Senator Anwar Baig, Senator Asfand Yar Wali, Babar Awan, Muhammad Latif Khosa, Ilyas Ahmad Bilour signed the adjournment motion.
