7 of a family die as roof caves in

GILGIT—Seven members of a family were killed in Skardu in the wee hours of Sunday when roof of their house caved in, Senior Superintendent of Police Skardu Wazir Mohammad Ali told. The victims belonged to a family of an ex military man, Hussain who was not in the house at the time of tragedy. SSP said the family was in room being used as kitchen-cum-bed to beat the extreme cold. The tragedy took the life of Hussains’s father, wife, three daughters and two sons.—Online
