Qazi Khalilullah new envoy to Myanmar

ISLAMABAD—The government has appointed Qazi M.Khalilullah as new Ambassador to the Union of Myanmar. Presently serving as Director General at Headquarters since July, 2005 Qazi M. Khalilullah holds Masters degree in International Public Policy (USA). He joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1985 and held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan missions abroad includingMoscow (1988-1993), Ashgabat (1993-1996), Kyiv (1999-2002) and Geneva (2002-2005), says a foreign office press release issued here on Friday. Qazi M. Khalilullah also served at Headquarters as Section Officer (1986-1988) and Director (1996-1999). He is married.—Online
