Heavy snowfall blocks Abbottabad, Murree road

ABBOTTABAD—Heavy snowfall in Abbottabad and its adjacent areas have further decreased the temperature forcing people to remain indoors. Abbottabad-Murree road was blocked for traffic due to heavy snowfall in the area, official sources told district correspondent here Friday. The residents of earthquake affected Union Councils of Abbottabad were facing hardships in their routine life activities whereas movement from one place to other became difficult. The people of Union Council Bakote and Numbal are also facing fuel and water shortage. Nathiagali, Ayubia, Thandiani and other adjacent areas were in grip of severe cold as heavy snowfall continued.—Agencies
