60- year- old Goth to get power supply

KARACHI—Due to special attention paid by Town Nazim Gulshan- e-Iqbal, Wasey Jalil, work has started on laying of electricity network in Madhu Goth in UC-10, Block-11. The 60- year- old Goth was without electricity and the Town Nazim, while taking notice of this problem and to end Kunda menace, talked to KESC authorities and got this issue resolved and inaugurated the work on laying of power network on Friday. This Goth has some 700 inhabitants who were using kunda system and could have become a source for any mishap. As a result of efforts by Director Business Operation KESC, two PMTs and 15 poles will soon be installed in the Goth. It may be mentioned here that for the first time KESC is performing work of laying of power network in the area which would be completed in two months whereafter its inhabitants would get relief.—Online
