Recruitment of female Officers in Army

KARACHI—The Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (ASRC), Karachi Wednesday announced the schedule of new recruitments for inductions into the departments of Instructional Staff in Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC), in Pakistan Army. According to a press release issued by ISPR, the candidates, who fulfill the educational and other criteria may register on “www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk”, for Commission in the Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering (EME), Engineers, Signal, Aviation and Army Service Corps (ASC), between February 4 to 9, 2008. For the candidates from Sindh, the professional academic, written and competency test will be held in Karachi, Hyderabad as well as at other centres in Pakistan. As per the schedule, the test for Engineering and Signal Corps. will be held on February 12, for EME and Pilot Officer Aviation on Feb 13 while for Army Supply Corp between February 14 and 16.—Agencies
