Opp seeks debate on security situation in senate

ISLAMABAD—The combined opposition on Wednesday submitted an adjournment motion in Senate against deteriorating law and order situation and increasing terrorist activities in the country. According to the adjournment motion, the activities of terrorists have now become a regular feature and a recent attack of a suicide bomber on security forces right under the nose of Government proves that the law and order situation is becoming bad to worst.
The Government has failed to control the situation and citizens of the country are very much perturbed about their feature, it said, adding that, the recent suicide attack at security forces in Rawalpindi R.A bazaar Rawalpindi Cantt killing at least 11 persons including 6 uniformed and civil personnel of AMC and injuring over 45 others shows that nobody is feeling safe anywhere.—Online
