Traffic Plan chalked out for BB Chehlum

RAWALPINDI—Rawalpindi Traffic Police has finalized special traffic plan on the occasion of Chehlum of Benazir Bhutto at Liaqat Bagh organized by Peoples Party.
To minimize the traffic problems of citizens route plan has been developed and also identified different places for car parking of participants.
Senior Traffic Officer S.P. Malik Matloob Ahmed Awan briefing journalists about traffic route plan has pointed that car parking has been setup in front of Gordon College, TMA office and WASA office near to press club for participants of prayer ceremony at Liaqat Bagh.
Road would be blocked at DAV college road Chowk when torch bearing rally comes out from Liaqat Bagh. Traffic on Murree road coming from Islamabad would be diverted to Rawal road and from Sadr would be diverted to Tipu road at Rialto Chowk, he told
Senior Traffic Officer S.P. Malik Matloob Ahmed Awan underlined, special traffic police squad would be in front and back of torch bearing rally and route of rally would be completely cleared. Traffic Police Officials would brief to citizens about alternative routes at diversion points.
