President expresses solidarity with China

ISLAMABAD—President Pervez Musharraf has expressed his utmost solidarity with the Government and people of China who have been severely affected by snow storms and inclement weather that has hit many regions of China.
In his message to Hu Jintao, President of the People’s Republic of China, President Musharraf said that the resolute manner in which Your Excellency and the Chinese Government have acted to provide relief and restore services is both inspiring and commendable.
Our thoughts and sincere good wishes are with our Chinese friends who will undoubtedly overcome the effects of this natural calamity, President maintained. The people of Pakistan wish their Chinese brothers every happiness and success for the approaching Chinese New Year and Spring Festival, he said.
