3211 polling stations set up

LAHORE—The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced that there will be 3211 polling stations and 7987 polling booths in the Punjab capital to facilitate a total of 3,671,089 voters to cast their votes in transparent ballot boxes in the general election on February 18. ECP sources told APP that there will be separate polling booths for a total of 2,042,216 male and 1,628,873 female registered voters in Lahore to elect 13 legislators for the National Assembly and 25 legislators for the Provincial Assembly. Election Commission has damarcated areas and localities falling in each constituency. The NA-118 includes Begum Kot, Kot Majo, Aziz Colony, Faisal Park, Qaiser Town, Shahdara, Gia Moosa, Qila Lachman Singh, Fruit Market, Sadiqpura, Phangali Bagh and Siddiqia Colony.—Online
