14 dead in accident

SUKKUR—A passenger coach collided with a trailer near Shahwali area of Rajanpur district some 25 Kilomerter away from Kashmore-Kandhkot district, leaving a woman a child besdies 12 others dead and leaving 20 wounded.
Kashmore Police told on Sunday that the passenger coach heading from Peshawar to Karachi, while overtaking a truck on Indus Highway near Shahwali clashed head-on with a trailer coming from the opposite direction, which resulted in the death of 12 persons including a woman and a child, while 20 persons were wounded.
Police and Rangers have shifted the bodies and the injured to Kashmore Taluka Hospital, while ten of them being in critical condition were later sent to Larkana and Rahimyar Khan.
Rahmatullah, Iqbal Hussain, Wakil Khan, Allah Dita, Gulzar Khan, Abu Bakar Khan, Rahmatullah Khan, Azim Hussain, Dilbar Khan, Rahima Khatoon, Azhar, 6 and Shaukat Khan were included among the dead, while one body could not yet be identified.
Kashmore District Nazim Sardar Saleem Jan Mazari, declaring emergency in the Kashmore Taluka Hospital, has cancelled the leaves of the hospital staff.—Agencies
