ICCI declared 2008 as problems solving year

ISLAMABAD—President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Muhammad Ijaz Abbasi said that ICCI has declared 2008 as the year of resolving problems.
He was addressing the delegation of Industrialists and the other members of business community who called on him here Friday. The President ICCI and business community showed their great concern over the performance of Capital Development Authority (CDA) and stressed to resolve the problems of I-9 Industrial area.
They also demanded to up grade the roads, maintenance of street lights and footpaths of industrial area. The CDA should allow construction of the additional stories of buildings in I-9 Sector to overcome the residential problems, they said.
Ijaz Abbasi urges the business community of Islamabad to come forward for their genuine demands. He assured that all the problems would be addressed properly with collective efforts. In the meeting business community mentioned that CDA approved lots of schemes for business community but still all the schemes are pending.
The meeting was also attended by former Presidents ICC Munawar Moughal, Nasir Khan and Zubair Ahmed Malik.
