3 gun downed in Mardan

MARDAN—Three people were gun downed in two different incidents here in jurisdiction of Rustum Police Station on Thursday. On Thursday morning, Gulzar Ahmed and Itbar Ali were killed when Mir Zaman, Zahid Ali and Murad Ali started indiscriminate firing on them in area of Machi. The bone of contention behind the killing was said to be old enmity. The accused after killing Gulzar Ahmed and Itbar Ali fled from the scene. In another incident, Qaiser was killed when Ajmal Khan started firing on him upon small dispute of money in area of Ghore. Police have registered separate cases and started investigation to arrest the accused.—Agencies
