60 militants held in Swat

SWAT—Security Forces have arrested 60 suspected militants in different areas of Shakar Dara, Swat. Indefinit curfew continues in Mata and Kabal, said Inter Services Public Relations. Meanwhile, a militant was handed over to police by the locals yesterday. Operation was carried out in Sheerai and Jasar areas of Shangla in search of milintants. Police had also arrested a militants from Shaplan yesterday.
Security Forces have arrested thirty three miscreants including two commanders and recovered huge quantity of ammunition from their possession. According to details, eight miscreants were detained during operation in the area of Shakar Darrah whereas a house of local miscreant has been blown up.
The forces besieged the area of Shakar Darrah and heavy contingent of security forces have been deployed in the area of Kabl. Curfew has been relaxed from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm in the area of Mingora whereas no relaxation has been given in the areas of Kabl, Kanjo and Mutta.—Agencies
