Muharram-ul-Haram likely from 10th

ISLAMABAD—The current astronomical analysis by Meteorological Office suggests that there is fair chance of sighting the new moon of Muharram-ul-Haram 1429 Hijri in the evening of January 9 throughout the country, therefore the Holy month of Muharram would commence from January 10. According to Met Office as such Yaum-e-Ashoure would be observed throughout country on January 19, Saturday.—Online
