UAE Minister
meets Zardari
Larkana—The Education Minister of the United Arabs Emirates (UAE),
Shaikh Mubarak Al-Nahyan, called on the co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples’
Party, Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday at Bhutto House, Naudero, and
condoled with him on the tragic death of former Prime Minister, Benazir
Bhutto.
The minister landed at Mohin-jo-Daro International airport in his
special plane, where he was received by the PPP leaders, and officials
off the local administration. He directly went to the Bhutto House, and
met with Mr Zardari.
Shaikh Mubarak delivered the condolence message of the UAE ruler to Mr
Zardari. The two also discussed the country’s political situation, and
future prospects after the demise of Ms Bhutto.
Later, the UAE minister went to the grave of former prime minister at
her ancestral graveyard in Ghari Khuda Bux, offered Fateha, and laid
floral wreath on behalf of the UAE ruler. Strict security measures were
taken by the administration on the occasion of UAE minister’s visit.
Hundreds of police and rangers personnel were deployed to avert any
untoward incident.—Online |
