killed, 4 wounded in Afghan explosion
KABUL—A soldier of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force
(ISAF) was killed and four other soldiers injured in an explosion during
a patrol in southern Afghanistan, the ISAF said. “The soldiers were
carrying out a routine vehicle mounted patrol when the vehicle they were
traveling in was hit by an explosion,” the military said in a statement
but did not give more details. The ISAF did not release the casualty’s
