COAS sends floral wreath to Benazir grave

LARKANA—A floral wreath has been laid at the grave of Benazir Bhutto on behalf of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervez Kiani . Senior Vice President of PPP, Makhdoom Amin Fahim has laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha on behalf of General Ashfaq Pervez Kiani.
Chief Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI), Maulana Fazal ur Rehman has telephoned Asif Ali Zardari and expressed his sorrow and grief over the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto. JUI central secretary Information Maulana Muhammad Amjad Khan stated this in a press release here on Sunday.
Expressing condolences with Asif Ali Zardari, Maulana Fazal said that the services of late Benazir Bhutti for the promotion of democracy in the country will always be remembered. Maulana Amjad said that JUI chief Fazal ur Rehman could not go to Naudero due to disturbed flight schedule while JUI General Secetary, Sindh, Maulana Dr. Khalid Mahmood Soomro met Zardari at Naudero and expressed condolence on behalf of Maulana Fazal ur Rehman.—Agencies
