Aitizaz barred from BB’s Soyem

LAHORE—PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan has not been allowed to attend Soyem of Chairperson PPP, late Benazir Bhutto.
According to details, heavy contingents of police have been deployed around his house and phones of his house have also been disconnected. It is pertinent to note that Aitzaz Ahsan is under house arrest since imposition of emergency on November 3. Aitizaz Ahsan was released on Eid for three days but he was detained when he was going to meet deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry from Lahore to Islamabad.—Online
