Dilly-delaying policies of NADRA multiply masses woos

ISLAMABAD—NADRA is delaying the issuing of National Identity Card in violation of the directives issued by President Musharraf President Pervez Musharraf had directed the authorities for prompt issuing of ID cards for ensuring maximum number of voters during the general elections.
However the NADRA authorities are delaying the issuing of cards and are causing much inconvenience to the citizens It is learnt that NADRA’s employees are giving two months time waiting period for issuing ID cards due to which people have to suffer a lot of difficulties.
They make the excuse that a Virus has attacked their computer system thus ID cards cannot be issued promptly. The citizens have demanded the authorities to take notice of the situation, as with this delaying tactics they would not be able to exercise their right of vote.
