President grieved on Bhutto’s killing
announces 3 days mourning

ISLAMABAD— President, Pervez Musharraf, expressed profound grief on the assassination of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairperson, Benazir Bhutto and announced three days mourning across the country.
Addressing the nation on Thursday after the assassination of Ms Bhutto in Rawalpindi, the President said the national flag will fly at half-mast in all the government offices for three days.
“I strongly condemn the tragic incident and announce three days mourning across the country in the honour of Ms Benazir Bhutto,” he said.
President Musharraf said the same terrorists are responsible for the attack on Benazir Bhutto who are spreading terrorism across the country.
He reiterated the pledged to continue to struggle against terrorism. He condoled the demise of Ms Bhutto and expressed his sympathies with all her family members. President Pervez Musharraf appealed to the nation to remain calm.
