APDM to hold convention on 18th

NOWSHERA—Ameer Jamaat Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed said that a convention of the APDM candidates has been summoned on December 18 to determine the strategy for making the elections boycott a success. He was talking at ‘Meet the Press’ in Nowshera.
Qazi Hussain Ahmed said that the convention would be held in Islamabad and the workers of the parties included in the APDM would attend it. He said that the workers would be trained to make the boycott of the elections a success. They would go home to home in groups and convince the people to boycott the elections.
Qazi Hussain Ahmed further said that the elections of January 8 are a fraud and the nation would not participate in these elections. He said that according to an independent survey, 56 per cent people have given their opinion in favour of boycotting the elections. Qazi Hussain Ahmed said that the government which would be formed in result of the elections of January 8 would not run any longer and the assemblies emerging from these elections would be more unauthorized than the previous rubber stamp assemblies. —Agencies
