BA introduces `On Business’ Programme for SMEs
Staff Report

ISLAMABAD—British Airways has introduced its `On Business’ reward programme for Pakistani companies to help them get the most of their travel budget.
According to a press release issued here, the programme is especially designed for small and medium sized enterprises, whose employees frequently fly for business purposes. The programme is free to join and open to any company with three or more travelling employees.
`On Business’ is a reward programme, wherein from all employee travel points are collected and can be redeemed at a later date for reward flights, reward flight upgrade and reward hotel stays. Once enrolled and activated each time a company employee travels with British Airways, the company will receive `On Business’ points.
“For small to medium sized companies, the costs associated with frequent business travels can be a challenge, especially for new businesses. `On Business’programme helps to lessen this burden by allowing companies to earn points from employee travel on a group basis,” said Paul Dhami, British Airways’ manager for Pakistan and Afghanistan.
“These points can be redeemed for flights, upgrades and hotel stays, an excellent incentive for companies looking to make their travel budgets go further,” he added.
The employees, who are Executive Club members will continue to earn British Airways miles and tier points for themselves as well. However, companies under corporate contract with the Airways are not eligible for `On Business’membership.
