Judiciary tops PML-N manifesto

LAHORE—PML (N) has finally announced its much-awaited party manifesto, which focuses on Judiciary, democracy, and restoration of ‘73 constitution among other things.
While addressing a much anxious and crowded press conference flanked by party leaders, Sartaj Aziz, and Mian Shahbaz Sharif, former PM and head of PML (N), Mian Nawaz Sharif announced Judiciary, restoration of ‘73 constitution, and democracy as the first and foremost issues of recently announced party manifesto.
These are closely followed by such pertinent issues as total and final abolishment of army’s role in politics, followed by safeguarding of masses lives and property, and fourth one related to patience and forbearance, which was an essential element and sign of civilization of any cultured and democratic Nation.
Mian Sahib termed the need for harmony, unity and mutual consensus as quite imperative in order to make life of masses more palatable, peaceful and harmonious, and alleviation of poverty, while the final point pertains to tackling of the menace of unemployment, health and educational facilities
While referring to the performance of previous regimes in connection with the party manifesto, he cited the fact that his party has been the originator of various reforms, including the economic reforms, which even inspired the late Indian PM of 1991-92 Nirsimharao, who wanted to study the economic pattern for India. ‘Mian Nawaz Sharif said that the period of 1990-93 was the golden era for economic reforms, which was historical by all means and standards, which if left un-interrupted would have ushered in an era of prosperity and unprecedented democracy in the Country.
