British airways introduces on business programme
ISLAMABAD—British Airways in Pakistan has introduced its ‘On Business’
reward programme for companies to help them get the most out of their
travel budgets.
Especially designed for small and medium sized enterprises that have
employees who frequently fly for business reasons, ‘On Business’ is a
reward programme wherein from all employee travel points are collected
and can be redeemed at a later date for Reward flights, Reward flight
upgrades and Reward hotel stays, said a press statement issued here on
Friday.
Once enrolled, and activated each time a company employee travels with
British Airways, the company will receive ‘On Business’ points. ‘On
Business’ is free to join and open to any company with three or more
traveling employees.
Paul Dhami, British Airways Manager Pakistan and Afghanistan commented,
“For small to medium sized companies, the costs associated with frequent
business travels can be a challenge, especially for new businesses.
Our ‘On Business’ programme helps to lesson this burden by allowing
companies to earn points from employee travel on a group basis. These
points can be redeemed for flights, upgrades and hotel stays, an
excellent incentive for companies looking to make their travel budgets
go further, he said.
Employees who are Executive Club members will continue to earn BA miles
and Tier points for themselves as well. However companies under
corporate contract with British Airways are not eligible for ‘On
Business’ membership.—Agencies |
