JI withdraws candidatures

KARACHI—Jamaat-e-Islami candidates for National Assembly and Provincial Assembly from Sindh have taken back their nomination papers following announcement of party leader Qazi Hussain Ahmed to boycott the general election.
According to details, Rana Arif, Abdul Ghaffar Omar, HM Hanif and Tahir Akbar have taken back their nomination papers from the constituencies of NA-248, 249, 250 and 251.
Similarly, Rana Arif Sultan, Tahir Akbar, Hadayat Baloch, Usman, Zikr Mehnti, Sheikh Yamin and Chaudhry Aslam have taken back their nomination papers from the constituencies of PS-108, 109, 112, 112 and 114.
