IG calls upon police officers to discharge duties diligently

RAWALPINDI—Inspector General of Police Punjab, Ahmed Nasim has said that the responsibilities of Police were very difficult and if the same were discharged with full dedication and honesty it become the source enjoying respect in the society as pleasure of Almighty Allah.
He expressed these views while addressing in a ceremony of passing out parade of 35th recruit course at PTS Chung here on Thursday. IG said that it was hearting to know that beside 734 recruits of Punjab Police, 52 assistant patrol Officers of motorway police were also being passed out from PTS Chung today. He said that various measure were being taken to impart training to the officers and the officials of Punjab Police on Scientific lines. More over many new projects were underway at PTS Chung. The new projects includes four new barrack, 65 new class rooms, officers mess and multipurpose auditorium, at a cost of 249.080 million. The IG maintained that due to the meritorious service, PTS Chung has become an exemplary training institution in the province. He said that both the national and foreign experts included in community policy, which have yielded very fruitful result in connection with maintenance of Law and Order and combating against the criminals in the province. The IG lauded the good performance of principal PTS Chung SSP Maj. Mubasshar-ullah and his colleague in connection with imparting training of international standard.
