Mian Bilal Anwar, a resident of street No 1, Khuram Colony said, “Gas pressure has dropped sharply, especially after the recent rains. We cannot keep our rooms warm because of low gas pressure. Gas heaters don’t work and we cannot afford electricity heaters.
It is strange that in this modern age we are forced to burn coal for heating.” Raja Mujahid, a resident of Sadiqabad, said, “Today, I had to go to my office without taking breakfast because gas pressure was very low. We have been facing this problem for the one last week. The residents have to face this problem every year but the officials concerned have no time to heed their complaints.” CNG stations in residential areas have reportedly caused gas shortages in residential areas.—Online
