capture militants stronghold

PESHAWAR—The security forces along with volunteers Thursday morning took
over the control of the headquarters of militants Darul Uloom Charbagh
and the police station without any resistance by the miscreants who are
on the retreat.
According to a release of Media Information Centre Mingora, Swat, the
notables, volunteers and large number of people welcomed the security
forces and hoisted the nation flags. The general public praised the
gallant actions and kind conduct of the security forces, it added.
The security forces moved towards Charbagh and took over the control of
police post at Chargagh it added. No resistance was faced by the
security forces en-route, it further added.
During the search and move operation, security forces came across
unmanned bunkers on Mangalore Bridge. They also recovered huge quantity
of local wine and liquor during the search. The headquarters of militant
at Darul Uloom Charbagh was also cleared and taken over by the security
forces. As many as three miscreants were apprehended by the FC from
Bariam and Ayub Bridge Check post. Reportedly they were involved in
terrorist activities. Security forces also distributed, ration, sweets
amongst the populace. Earlier Corps Commander along with GOC monitored
the operation and had a aerial view of the area.
The Armed Forces are the guardian of national integrity and a symbol of
unity of Pakistan and with the support of the people are fully capable
to meet all challenges to security of the country, said General Tariq
Majid, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee meeting while chairing
Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee here Thursday.
