Daily Telegraph apologizes to President
Staff Report

ISLAMABAD—Editor-in-Chief of “The Daily Telegraph”, William Lewis has tendered apology to the President for using offensive language against President in its editorial on 9th November 2007.
In a letter addressed to President, he said “ I am writing to express our regret over any misunderstanding that may have been caused by the language used in the our recent comments on the current political situation in Pakistan. It was never our intention to cause offense to you or your family, he added. However, officials sources said that the apology was unsolicited.
