PPP, PML-N to bring down PML-Q: Benazir
By Saad Saud

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan People Party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto welcoming the decision of the PML-N to contest the general elections said that now PPP and PML-N would compete against PML-Q. She expressed these views while talking to reporters upon her arrival from Dubai on Tuesday at the Islamabad airport.
She said that we deeply regret the breaking up of APDM, it should not have happened. However we are happy that a major political party like the PML-N has decided to take part in the elections and we welcome their decision. She said that now PML-N and PPP would compete with PMP-Q with all its rigor and they would be defeated.
She said that now wither the government would conduct massive rigging to ensure that PML-Q wins or would be compelled to hold transparent fair lections. Benazir Bhutto said that we have to save both the country and the democratic system and for this we would have to continue our struggle. She said that if elections are not transparent than opposition parties should form a strategy on how to launch a protest movement.
In response to a question she said that seat adjustments could be made with all the political parties including the PML-N as this was included in the charter of democracy.
She said that we still regard PML-N as part of ARD and we would continue joint struggle, as because of this struggle the government was compelled to allow two former prime misters to return to the country without any hurdles.

PPP Chairperson Mss Bhutto feared that retrogressive forces are inclined to develop political chaos in Pakistan and asked people to stand fast to foil such conspiracies on Tuesday.
While addressing a public gathering in Mardan, Former PM said that Pakistan has plummeted into deep-crisis. ‘On one hand, there is a lawlessness in tribal areas and in some other parts of NWFP. On the other hand, Pakistani nation is experiencing ordeal of kamikaze attacks’.
Pakhtoon people have to play their key role in order to resolve unleashed violence in tribal areas. Progressive forces are very important to maintain law and order situation inside the country”, she contended.
She asked Pakhtoons to cast their vote in the favour of PPP, which is the true representative of federation. On this occasion, students of Pakistan Youth presented Chadr to Ms Benazir Bhutto. The supporters of PPP were carrying placards and banners, and gave a rousing reception to the Chief of PPP upon her arrival.
