Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) over the issue of boycott of the
elections, the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) has ceased to exist.
MMA President Qazi Hussain Ahmed has postponed the Supreme Council
meeting of MMA scheduled to be held on Tuesday while Maulana Fazalur
Rehman as Secretary General of the alliance reconvened the meeting. Qazi
Hussain Ahmed while expressing annoyance over Maulana Fazalur Rehman’s
decision to reconvene the meeting has clarified that JUI-F by
participating in Elections would only strengthen the dictatorship.

ground the alliance of MMA has been almost ended and the decision in
this regard would be taken after reviewing the situation after
elections. He said that those who left the alliance would soon face the
consequences, adding that we would not participate in the election
drama. MMA now is not political and electoral alliance but a religious
alliance.
Every party is taking decisions of its own and in this situation the

religious alliance to maintain religious harmony as elections are
totally fraud and drama.

the interest of the country.

Ahmed to participate in upcoming general elections, as it would be a
wise decision. He said that we are agreed on one manifesto, adding that
unity is needed to face international doctorial forces.
