Work on second phase of Fatima Jinnah Park Project starts

ISLAMABAD—The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has started work on second phase of Fatima Jinnah Park Project in sector F-9 which would take three years for completion, CDA official told APP on Tuesday.
The official said in the second phase the Authority would develop about 200 acres out of total 750 acres land at the cost of 1,236 million rupees. The phase would include the development of a citizen’s club, botanical gardens, jogging tracks, stadium and a cycle track. Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) had prepared the master plan of the 750-acre park, but well-known architect Nayyar Ali Dada later revised it. The Authority has hired the services of M/s Expertise Limited for execution of the project.—APP
