SWAT—Militants’ one of the significant commanders Ibn Aameen and three other militants are reported to have been killed as a result of an offensive launched by the security forces in Swat. Ibn Aameen was a governor of one of the provinces of Afghanistan during the Taliban regime.
According to sources, firing by gun ship helicopters of security forces continues in Namal and Payochar areas of Swat. Three houses were collapsed besides an alleged prison of militants by mortar shells. Ibn Aameen was also indicted in Musharraf attack in Rawalpindi case but he was freed after the court acquitted him on finding him not guilty.
