Eidul Azha on 21st

ISLAMABAD—Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Saturday announced that Eidul Azha will be celebrated on December 21 (Friday) as the moon of Eidul Azah was not sighted throughout the country in the light of any evidence, reports and data collected from various parts of the country.
The Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Muneebur Rehman was talking to mediamen after presiding over a meeting of the committee at the Ministry of the Religious. Members of the committee from Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Rawalpindi and Islamabad and officials of the ministry also attended the meeting.
Chairman of Ruet-e- Hilal Committee Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, while talking to media men, said that no empirical evidence of moon sighting is being reported from any part of the country. So Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on Friday, Dec 21.
Maulana Taqi Usmani, Maulana Fazl Azad, Mian Naeem-ul-Rehman, members of Islamabad zonal committee and other Ulema were also present at the meeting of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.—Agencies
