Suicide bomber attacks school bus

KAMRA—Atleast 6 people including 4 children were injured Monday when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car with military truck at Kamra Road, connecting Karma Air base Cantt with Attock City. The military truck bearing no (741-159) in accordance with its routine was taking a group of children to schools and colleges from Government colonies when a suicide bomber coming from Attock city smashed his Toyota 2 D car full with explosive material in it, some 300 yards away from army mess.
6 people including 4 children, driver and conductor of military bus were wounded. The injured were taken to Kamra Hospital where the conductor shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in critical condition. The blast was so powerful that it destroyed the car completely and its spare parts fell some 200 feet away from the site of incident. The suicide attacker died in the incident. The blast shatters the attacker into pieces. There were about 17 children in the bus when it came under attack. The Japan assembled engine of car bearing no C-28100-64340, C28000-4972, DNESO was laid near the site of incident.
Later, the injured were identified as Maria, Sumbal, Israr, Shakil, driver Javed and driver Muhammad Niaz.—Agencies
